You can’t hate yourself into a version of you that you love, but life would be easier if you could.
Self-hatred is toxic. It makes your life so much harder than it has to be. It is a huge problem for many of us, but there are things that you can do to help yourself.
Recognize and respect your feelings, but think about them logically.
Be proud of and celebrate your achievements. Sometimes they are big, and sometimes they are taking a shower today. Either way, be proud of it.
Find out who you truly are. Find out where this lack of self-love comes from. Chances are that they are from your childhood. If that is the case, spend some time parenting your inner child.
During Health and Fitness month we spend time working on more than just our physical health when it comes to our bodies. We spend time working on loving these bodies that have supported us so well. It isn't always easy, but it is always worth it.
